The 2010 MMTA Spring Meeting on April 10 will include a Piano Monster Concert for students in grades 5-12. The application deadline is February 8. Please see our Events page for more information and an application to download and mail.
Student Evaluations will take place throughout the state in March and April. The deadline for applications is February 14. Please see the Student Evaluations page for the latest information, incuding an application to download.

MMTA Vision Statement
The Maine Music Teachers Association is a non-profit organization of music teachers dedicated to serving music teachers, music students and communities. In concert with the Music Teachers National Association and affiliated local associations, we encourage excellence in music education by providing a certification program and offering professional development opportunities for music teachers, and performance opportunities for music students on all levels. We promote the professional prestige of music teachers and seek to nurture the next generation of music lovers by supporting musical activities in schools and communities throughout the state.
